Knights’ Corporate team in Leeds has advised Berkshire Hathaway company, TTI, Inc., on the acquisition of Ecopac (U.K.) Power Limited – the UK’s largest distributor of power supplies.

TTI has built a reputation as a world-leading distributor of specialist electric components – supporting many leading manufacturers. TTI’s global headquarters is located in Fort Worth, Texas. The group employs over 8,000 people at more than 136 locations across the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa.

Led by Philip Goldsborough, David Hayes and Josh Temple, Knights’ team advised TTI on the acquisition of Buckinghamshire-based Ecopac Power for an undisclosed sum.

Philip, David and Josh were supported by a team of specialists from across Knights’ Commercial, Employment, Environmental, Intellectual Property, Pensions, Real Estate and Tax teams.

Geoff Breed, Vice President TTI, Inc. – Europe, said:

“Ecopac Power is renowned in the UK for its product portfolio, technical solutions and value-added service of power products, having served the industry for nearly 30 years.

“There are many synergies between the two companies, sharing the same principles on core distribution values, focus on customer service and total satisfaction, and so this collaboration is a natural fit. We are delighted to be bringing Ecopac Power into the TTI Family of Specialists.

“The professional support we received from Knights enabled us to get this acquisition completed and I would like to thank their team on behalf of TTI for all the hard work and focus on this project”

Philip Goldsborough, Corporate Partner at Knights, said:
