GreenWood Family Park, the award-winning eco-friendly attraction in Y Felinheli, North Wales, has been acquired by The Wood Family Group from Continuum Attractions.

Set across 34 acres and home to more than 15 rides and attractions, including the world's only people-powered rollercoaster, GreenWood has become one of Wales' most popular family destinations since being acquired by Continuum Attractions in 2017.

Continuum is known for creating some of the UK’s most successful immersive visitor attractions such as The Coronation Street Experience, York’s Chocolate Story and Eden Camp Modern History Museum.

Knights advised Continuum Attractions on the transaction. The deal was led by Corporate Partner Victoria Inness and Solicitor Aaron Chaddha, with support from specialists across the firm's property, commercial, banking, employment, data protection and regulatory teams.

Knights have advised Continuum Attractions on several strategic transactions and corporate matters over several years, including the successful purchase earlier this year of Eden Camp Modern History Museum, a historic prisoner of war camp from World War Two, now converted into a living museum .

Victoria Inness, Corporate Partner at Knights, said:

"We are particularly proud to have supported Continuum Attractions on this sale. This was a complex transaction requiring specialist input from lawyers across our corporate, property, commercial, banking, employment, data protection and regulatory teams. The collaborative approach of colleagues from across the business ensured a seamless transaction for all parties.

Having worked closely with Continuum Attractions for many years, including on its acquisition of Eden Camp Modern History Museum earlier this year, we know how important it was to find an owner who will build on GreenWood’s success and invest in its future."
