Cheryl is an Associate in the Asset Management and Plot Sales team.

Supporting on land acquisitions, infrastructure arrangements, freehold or leasehold plot sales, she works with large and small scale residential property developers and housebuilders.

Her experience includes residential acquisitions and disposals for commercial investors and private property portfolio holders.

She specialises in high-volume transactions, mixed developments and plot sales to housing associations.

Examples of how Cheryl has supported clients include:

  • facilitating the sale of a block of 60 flats for a company that had got into financial difficulty, under an arrangement whereby 32 of the flats were sold off to private buyers and the remaining 26 (plus the freehold to the block) were sold to an investor who then leased the flats back to our client;
  • managing the sale of the freehold reversion of a block of flats on behalf of a property company, including serving notices giving existing leaseholders the right of first refusal and, when this offer was not acted upon, dealing with the onward sale to a commercial investor; and
  • supporting the developer of a residential site in Leicester in the sale of 99 leasehold flats, which included rights and responsibilities in respect of a shared tenants’ car park and various communal areas.
