Claire is an Associate in the Tax & Trusts and Wills & Estates teams.
Claire has been working in the legal sector for 21 years, she started her career in the legal sector after leaving school. Claire assists the team with the preparation of wills and lasting powers of attorney together with the administration of estates including some tax planning experience.
Recent examples of how Claire has supported clients include:
- assisting with the preparation of clients’ wills and trusts to ensure protection of assets against loss and undertaking inheritance tax planning in the estate;
- assisting in the estate of a deceased with multiple beneficiaries and ensuring that the estate is distributed in accordance with the deceased’s wishes; and
- assisting with the preparation of lasting powers of attorney for a vulnerable client to ensure that their financial affairs and wellbeing are taken care of.
