Krystal is an Associate in the Asset Management and Development teams.
With experience in asset management, her work includes handling commercial property issues, notably landlord and tenant matters including lease negotiations, assignments, surrenders and licences as well as advising on freehold matters such as sales and purchases.
She also assists the development team and advises on development matters including negotiating option agreements and dealing with documentation required for development plot sales.
Krystal acts for commercial landlords and tenants, residential and commercial developers, property investment businesses and individuals.
From her time working in-house, Krystal has gained experience in non-disclosure agreements and general contract negotiation. Her experience on secondment at the University of Oxford and M&G Real Estate Limited has focused her to provide commercial pragmatic advice to achieve commercially viable outcomes for clients.
Clients include Paddy Power Betfair PLC and First Property Group PLC.
Recent examples of how Krystal has supported clients include:
- successfully negotiating lease variations for institutional landlords following the impact of Covid-19;
- negotiating lease renewals and variations for Irish bookmaker Paddy Power throughout their portfolio of 200 plus betting shops in England and Wales;
- assisting with the purchase of a redundant commercial petrol garage/car sales plot with overage negotiation for a developer client to develop into residential housing; and
- acting on the sale of a redundant commercial premises with overage negotiation to a developer for residential development.
