Alicia is a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution team.
She has experience in commercial disputes in claims for misrepresentation, enforcement of restrictive covenants including through interim injunction, and breach of contract claims.
Alicia also has experience in brand protection and intellectual property matters, assisting clients with trade mark registration and enforcement, copyright issues, and online content removals.
Alicia represents businesses and individuals in litigation, alternative dispute resolution, and advisory work, helping clients navigate complex disputes with a strategic and practical approach.
She has been featured in the Legal 500 2025 directory for London TMT in Franchising.
Recent examples of how Alicia has supported clients include:
- Currently acting for a group of former Vodafone franchisees engaged in High Court litigation on issues concerning Braganza duties, implied terms of good faith and the Commercial Agents Regulations 1993.
- Successfully acted for a franchisee in proceedings issued in the High Court for fraudulent misrepresentation of financial projections in the franchisor’s prospectus with judgment being handed down in October 2021 and the appeal successfully dismissed (Pistachios in the Park Ltd & Anor v Sharn Panesar Ltd [2022] EWHC 2088 (QB).
- Acting for Bluebird Care, a domiciliary care franchisor, in claims for breach of contract and enforcement of restrictive covenants through interim injunctions.
- Successfully struck out a claim against a former franchisee of Anytime Fitness for trade mark infringement in an online advertisement (Evans & Ors v Anytime Clubs UK Ltd [2022] EWHC 1142 (IPEC)).
- Drafting trade mark applications and advising intellectual property portfolios for a number of the Franchising Team’s franchising clients.
