Amy is a Senior Associate in the Commercial team.

Experienced in advising on commercial matters, with a focus on drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts such as terms and conditions, supply or purchase agreements (goods and/or services), framework agreements, events agreement, agency and distribution arrangements, managed services and outsourcing,  confidentiality agreement and transitional services contracts, Amy works closely with her clients to achieve their goals while maintaining a balanced and commercially-minded approach.

Supporting businesses throughout their life cycle in sectors including events, retail, healthcare, agribusiness, manufacturing and real estate, her clients include start-ups, more established businesses and well-known brands. Her approach is collaborative,  solution-driven and holistic and, as required, Amy works closely with experts throughout Knights to incorporate TUPE, competition, regulatory, data and other specialist elements into the advice provided.

Recent examples of how Amy has supported clients include:

  • Working with German lawyers to prepare an agency agreement to protect a UK retail principle appointing an agent active in the EU;
  • Preparing template standard terms, and guidance, to empower a business park client to confidently review and enter supply contracts with minimal external legal input;
  • Bespoke drafting of project documents for an innovative research programme, with a particular focus on confidentiality and IP protection;
  • Negotiating changes to standard terms on behalf of a retail client entering into a concession arrangement.
