Charlotte is a Solicitor in the Private Wealth, Wills and Estates, Tax and Trusts teams.
Charlotte has experience in a variety of private client work including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Estate Administration including high net worth estates.
She is an affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners having completed the STEP Advanced Certificate in Will Preparation in England and Wales.
Examples of how Charlotte has supported clients include:
- Enabling complex wills and letters of wishes to be prepared and executed for a couple who were deaf and non-verbal by arranging for sign language interpreters to interpret throughout meetings.
- Administering an estate which included the termination of a settled land act settlement, liaising with multiple solicitors and a Trust Company to enable the sale of an unregistered property with incomplete deeds.
- Administering an intestate estate where historic bankruptcy charges were present on several properties. The removal required liaising with the official receiver, trustee in bankruptcy and accountants to enable the successful sale of the properties and to finalise historic income tax during lifetime.
