Jo is a Solicitor in the Corporate team.
Jo supports a wide range of general corporate transactions including business sales and purchases, mergers, joint ventures and corporate lending across healthcare, energy and technology sectors. Jo also advises on corporate tax matters.
Prior to qualifying as a solicitor in October 2022, Jo worked as a Geologist in both mining and oil & gas industries giving her a unique insight into these sectors. Jo is also a Fellow of the Geological Society of London.
Recent examples of how Jo has supported clients include:
- Cross border (US – UK) share for share exchange including advising on UK corporate tax implications;
- Pre-acquisition tax structured demerger and share capital reduction of large UK group company;
- Providing independent legal advice to directors and provision of loans to directors.
