Jon is a Partner in the Private Wealth team.
He provides commercially minded advice to business owners, high net worth individuals (both in the UK and internationally), charities, trustees, executors and attorneys on a wide range of taxation and private client legal issues.
Jon specialises in inheritance tax and succession planning, the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney, the creation and administration of Trusts and administration of estates.
He has a particular expertise in acting for high net worth individuals and business owners in relation to the private client issues that they face.
Jon is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and is the chair of the North East and Cumbria STEP branch committee.
Jon also sits as Vice Chair and Trustee of FC Hartlepool (a large grassroots football club and charity).
