Laura is a Associate in the Commercial and Aviation teams.
Laura supports clients on all aspects of commercial law which includes advising clients on commercial contracts, including contracts for the supply of goods and services; standard terms and conditions; confidentiality agreements; software development and licensing / distribution agreements; and licences and assignments of intellectual property. Laura has advised clients in the tech sector at all levels, from start-ups to large corporates.
She has experience of supporting corporate colleagues with due diligence on the commercial and contractual aspects of business acquisitions.
Recent examples of how Laura has supported clients include:
- Providing day-to-day commercial legal support for the in-house legal team at a major international aviation engineering company.
- Preparing a licence agreement for the use of various Jacob Douwe Egberts trademarks and merchandising of various Jacob Douwe Egberts coffee products by a third party Café operator.
- Preparing a framework services agreement for one of the UK’s largest logistics and CPC training companies to use with third party training providers.
- Preparing a website development agreement, advising on intellectual property, and licensing aspects.
