Louise is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution team who specialises exclusively in Wills, Inheritance and Trust disputes.
With over a decade's worth of experience and a number of reported judgments, Louise has extensive experience assisting clients deal with a broad range of complex and high value disputes including those involving multijurisdictional elements. Louise handles all aspects of contentious probate work including claims involving disappointed beneficiaries, proprietary estoppel (broken promise claims), estate disputes, removal and replacement of executors, claims concerning the validity of otherwise of wills, rectification and construction of wills, actions involving trusts and trustees, professional negligence, and contentious Court of Protection matters.
Louise also has experience dealing with contentious Court of Protection claims involving disputes involving statutory wills, retrospective applications for Court of Protection approval relating to the use of a person's funds and applications for the removal and replacement of attorneys and deputies.
Louise is a full member of ACTAPS (The Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists), an affiliate member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners), a member of ConTrA (the Contentious Trusts Association) and the NCPG (the Northern Contentious Probate Group).
