Melanie is a Partner in the Family team.
A collaborative lawyer and long-standing member of Resolution, Melanie specialises in divorce, financial settlements and cohabitee disputes, including those involving Schedule 1 of the Children Act. She regularly acts in high-net-worth cases with complex structures such as offshore trusts, foreign property, inherited wealth and self-invested pension schemes. She also works with clients looking to protect their future with cohabitation and prenuptial agreements.
Melanie is known for her practical advice, people-first approach and ability to navigate sensitive matters while helping families stay on positive terms wherever possible. She is also a member of the Law Society Family Panel and has played an active role in training future lawyers, having previously served as a Training Principal.
Qualified as a solicitor in 2002.
