Paul is a Partner in the Corporate team.
Specialising in corporate transactional work and advising owner managers on acquisitions, disposals, mergers, MBO’s, MBI’s and related transactions across a wide range of sectors.
Paul has extensive experience of advising companies in relation to private equity and venture capital investments (including acting for PE and VC funds on their investments). He has significant insight into manufacturing and engineering businesses and the challenges and opportunities they face.
Working with owners and directors of SMEs in sectors as diverse as manufacturing, healthcare and education, those businesses range from niche specialists to larger corporates turning over more than £100m. Clients include Horbury Group Limited, The Skills People Group Limited and Purex International Limited.
Recent examples of how Paul has supported clients include:
- dealing with the shareholders on the £45m+ sale of Altek Europe Limited to Harsco Corporation;
- supporting the shareholders of NMC Group Holdings on the multi-million pound sale of the business to PE-backed Gritit Group; and
- working with the management team of Purex International Limited on its MBO from Domino Printing Sciences PLC and on the secondary MBO of the business 3 years later.
