Zoe is a Senior Associate in the Regulatory team.
She specialises in Regulatory law advising clients on a wide spectrum of complex regulatory issues. This includes environmental law, healthcare matters, professional misconduct, data protection and freedom of information and health and safety. Zoe has particular expertise in dealing with matters involving the CQC, considering if an activity is regulated, making and/ or responding to information requests, fitness to practise investigations and proceedings, working at height, traffic management, machinery guarding, and exposure to hazardous substances, including asbestos.
Zoe also deals with inquests and undertakes her own advocacy.
Zoe is regularly instructed by clients to undertake, assist with and advise on investigations. As part of a company investigation, Zoe has been instructed to interview and take statements from relevant witnesses and prepare written submissions under caution. Zoe regularly represents clients’ interests in front of enforcement and regulatory authorities.
She has experience in providing both proactive and reactive advice to clients. Zoe regularly conducts gap analysis for clients (pre and post incident). Zoe has been involved in producing bespoke policies and procedures for clients relevant to their business (including on matters relating to discrimination and reasonable adjustments) and providing guidance on ISO standards and best practice.
She also provides specialist advice on regulatory matters in corporate and property transactions, including drafting bespoke warranties and indemnities and negotiating the same, undertaking due diligence and producing red flag reports. Zoe has experience with SRA compliance and professional misconduct, including advising solicitors.

- Meeting with a client on-site within 24 hours of the incident occurring to assist with the company investigation and meeting with enforcing authorities.
- Carrying out a legally privileged investigation following a fatality, seeing the matter through to the conclusion, including representation at a Coroner’s inquest.
