Knights is pleased to announce that it provided legal advice to the selling shareholders of Total Community Care (“TCC”) on their sale to City & County Healthcare Group.
TCC was formed in 2006 by Chris Freestone and Reg Perrins. Their aim was to create an organisation that was truly client centred and provide bespoke care teams for people living with spinal injuries and neurological conditions in the clients’ own homes. Headquartered in Leicester, TCC provides care packages across the UK.
Established in 2009, City & County help thousands of people with a wide variety of care needs to live independently at home and the company continues its growth journey with the acquisition of TCC. This transaction will enable City & County to further expand the group’s offerings to new and existing markets.
The transaction is Knights' latest in a number of deals across the Healthcare sector and continues to enhance its reputation.
Chris Freestone and Reg Perrins of TCC commented: We’d like to recognise and thank the whole team at Knights plc for the fantastic support that you have given us during the sale of TCC. There were inevitably plenty of ‘moments’ during the process but we never felt anything other than certain in the advice and guidance that we received from you. We cannot imagine what it would have been like without you.
Matthew Bolton, key advisor for Knights plc commented: “Knights plc is delighted to have advised the selling shareholders of TCC on this sale to City & County. Working with Reg and Chris was a pleasure from start to finish and we wish them, the wider team at TCC and, of course, City & County the very best for the journey ahead. Congratulations to all involved for an excellent deal”.
