Knights’ Corporate team has supported Phenna Group in its acquisition of Bolton NDT & Inspection Ltd (BNDT), Weld Invigilation and the Radiography Divisions of BNDT.

The specialised testing, inspection, certification and compliance business aims to invest in and partner with selected niche, independent Testing, Inspection, Certification and Compliance (TICC) companies that serve a variety of sectors. This is the first acquisition made by Phenna Group in 2021 and the third in its NDT & Industrial Services vertical. 

Bolton NDT & Inspection Ltd was established in 1987 and provides a comprehensive range of welding and non-destructive testing services to a range of clients, predominantly in the North West region.  Presently, the business offers 6 separate service lines, three of which are Welding Invigilation, Non Destructive Testing and Radiography; the parts that Phenna Group will acquire.

This is the fourth acquisition which Knights’ Corporate team has advised Phenna Group on in recent months, following a hat-trick of acquisitions in late 2020.
