Knights' Corporate team has collaborated with Ancala Partners LLP, providing advice in connection with the acquisition of specialist care and mental health provider Ludlow Street Healthcare by providing transaction support and specialist legal due diligence.

Ludlow Street Healthcare joins the Holmleigh Care Group (part of Ancala Partners LLP), adding 16 residential care homes, three mental health hospitals and a further education college to Ancala’s care portfolio. As a leading care provider, Ludlow Street Healthcare brings specialist care, education and treatment services for individuals with complex mental health needs.

The acquisition will strengthen Holmleigh Care Group’s ability to deliver on the government’s objective of improving health and care services enabling people to remain supported in their communities. The combined group will be able to provide critical support to service users with a range of mental health needs and learning disabilities.

Knights’ Corporate team was led by Paul Batchelor and Hannah Tessyman, working alongside Tanya Dobson and Alex Morris. Additional support was provided by Fiona Moss on commercial aspects, Rachel Hatton provided specialist employment advice, Zoe McNeil and Tom Cleary gave input on regulatory matters, Michael Lodge provided specialist banking advice and Phillip Vallon was involved in the immigration aspects.
