Home furnishings retailer Dunelm has officially opened the doors of a flagship new store in Warwickshire.
Dunelm cut the ribbon on the 40,000 sq ft unit at Elliott’s Field Shopping Park in Rugby on Monday 29 August.
Knights’ Real Estate team supported the Leicester-based retailer in its acquisition of the site – which was formerly home to Debenhams – on a 10-year lease.
Caroline Smith led Knights’ team, with support from Simran Sahdra.
Dunelm’s store manager Aimee Smith said:
We’re so excited to be opening our new Dunelm Rugby store. The team have been working incredibly hard over the past few weeks to get everything set up and ready and we can’t wait to welcome everyone into our amazing new home.
“We hope the local Rugby community will love it just as much as we do.”
Caroline Smith, Partner at Knights, said:
“We’re really pleased to have worked with Dunelm to secure this site following a series of acquisitions supported by Knights.
“It’s great to see the brand’s continued success and we look forward to supporting them on many more acquisitions.”
The new store will create 35 new jobs and is home to an exclusive Dorma department, made-to-measure window treatments, a new furniture showroom, and a Pausa kitchen cafe.
