Leading Dispute Resolution Partner Peter Sheppard has joined Knights’ Reading office in the Thames Valley.
With more than 30 years of experience in litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution, Peter joins the business bringing significant expertise across the full range of domestic and international commercial and corporate dispute resolution, acting for businesses, not-for-profit organisations and high net worth individuals.
Peter has been consistently ranked as a leading individual by the Legal 500 and Chambers for many years, described by clients and peers as a standout litigator and as having renowned technology and corporate disputes expertise. He is in Legal 500’s Hall of Fame for commercial litigation.
Peter’s specialisms include assisting clients with technology, telecoms and digital disputes, corporate transaction disputes, director, shareholder and governance issues, employee and competitor impropriety, and commercial fraud. He is also vastly experienced in dealing with the full range of general commercial contract and tort claims, as well as anti-bribery and other regulatory compliance, defending late filing of accounts and other company secretarial prosecutions, and cross-border issues. He has a particular emphasis on helping clients achieve their commercial aims by avoiding disputes and early-stage resolution.
Peter’s arrival at Knights signals further growth in the Thames Valley region following the completion of the business’ latest acquisition last month.
