Leading cyber security consultancy firm Aristi has been acquired by Limerston Capital in a deal that promises to ‘accelerate’ the growth of the Birmingham-based business.

Founded in 2008 by its now CEO, Harj Singh, Aristi are firmly established as one of the UK’s leading providers of penetration testing and cyber security consultancy services. The investment by Limerston Capital’s cyber security arm marks a significant milestone in Aristi’s growth journey and supports its ambition to continue setting the standard for high-quality, accredited cyber security services across the UK.

Aristi joins Xypher, the Limerston backed UK-based cyber services leader, and brings more than 17 years of specialist expertise across a range of security testing and cyber defence services.

The acquisition strengthens the Limerston group’s expanding portfolio of managed cyber security, digital forensics, case management and e-Discovery services. Aristi joins existing Xypher companies CyberCrowd, DigitalXRAID and IntaForensics, ensuring customers benefit from enhanced end-to-end capabilities across cyber resilience, digital forensics, penetration testing, security consultancy, incident response and operational technology security.

A team of specialist Corporate advisors at Knights, led by Partners, Gareth Burge and Amy Osbourn, and supported by Solicitor, Michael Kokkinoftas, secured the sale of Aristi to Limerston Capital for an undisclosed price. Corporate finance advice was provided by BSN Associates.

Harj Singh, Chief Executive Officer of Aristi, said:

“Joining Limerston Capital’s cyber platform gives us the investment, scale and wider capability to accelerate that mission even further.

“We’re proud of what we’ve built so far, and with the wider group’s expertise, we look forward to expanding what’s possible for our customers and our team.
