Knights, the UK’s leading regional legal and professional services business, has expanded its Family team in Reading further with the appointment of Owen Reynolds as a Partner.
A family law specialist, Owen joins Knights with three decades of experience advising clients across a full range of family matters. Owen’s extensive background includes providing support to clients on divorce matters, division of matrimonial finances, cohabitee disputes, domestic violence injunctions, private law children matters, and high-net-worth pre and post-nuptial agreements.
Owen began his career acting on Legal Aid cases, including complex children matters, and has since developed significant experience representing clients in a variety of challenging and high-stakes situations. His work includes Section 37 injunctions to freeze assets, as well as acting in both the Family Court and High Court on financial and children disputes—covering issues such as contact arrangements, residence, and relocation cases.
As a collaborative lawyer, Owen conducts cases using the Resolution Collaborative Law route, enabling clients to resolve sensitive issues without going to court.
Owen’s appointment comes during a period of rapid growth for Knights’ team in Reading, who earlier this month relocated to a state-of-the-art office space on the twelfth floor of The Blade building. The Reading office has also welcomed 11 talented professionals to the team in recent months including partners across Dispute Resolution, Private Client, Family and Regulatory.
