Cardiff-based building maintenance specialists Cardo Group has acquired Trident Maintenance Service in a deal that allows the business to enter a new stage of growth.

Headquartered in Glasgow, Scotland, and with branches across the UK, Trident Maintenance Services Limited is a leading construction and property maintenance specialist, providing high‑quality and affordable maintenance services to both public and private sector clients.

The deal further strengthens Cardo Group’s growth and expansion in Scotland, building on the business’ recent acquisition of well-established roofing business Faskin Group.

Based in the Welsh capital, Cardo Group has offices across England and South Wales and boasts a team of more than 950 skilled operatives and specialists.

The acquisition will ensure a strong local presence while providing Trident Maintenance Services with additional resources, operational support and integrated infrastructure available from within the Cardo Group.

A team of specialist advisors at regional legal and professional services business, Knights, advised Cardo Group on their acquisition of Trident Maintenance Services. The Knights team was led by Corporate Partner, Emma Borrington, who was supported by Stewart Knights, Elizabeth Hill and Edmund Anya in Corporate, Sarah Luxmoore in Employment, Krystal Gibbins in Real Estate and Sarah Cardew in Tax.

Liam Bevan, CEO of Cardo Group, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Trident Maintenance Services.
