Knights, the UK's largest regional legal and professional services business, has completed the acquisition of THP Solicitors, continuing its expansion across the Thames Valley less than 18 months after establishing its presence in the region.
The combination enhances Knights' expertise across Family, Private Client, Real Estate and Residential Property law, further strengthening its offering for clients across the Thames Valley and reinforcing its position in one of the UK's most significant regional markets.
The transaction represents the latest milestone in Knights' growth in the region. Having entered the Thames Valley less than 18 months ago, the business relocated to larger premises at The Blade in Reading last year after outgrowing its original space. The move created capacity for future growth and reflected Knights' long-term commitment to the region.
Today, colleagues from both businesses come together at The Blade, creating a broader platform from which to support clients across Reading, the Thames Valley and beyond.
For clients, the professionals they know and trust remain the same. They will continue to work with familiar contacts while benefiting from access to the wider expertise, resources and specialist services available across Knights' national business.

The combination builds on a period of sustained investment and growth by Knights across the South of England. Since entering the Thames Valley, the business has continued to invest in people, infrastructure and capability, creating an increasingly broad and well-connected platform for clients and colleagues across the region. The addition of THP follows the recently announced agreement to acquire Moore Barlow, which is expected to bring additional depth and expertise in Guildford, Richmond, Lymington and Southampton, further extending Knights' presence across the South of England and strengthening its national platform.
