The UK’s largest regional legal and professional services business, Knights, has completed its move to the heart of Nottingham.

The relocation, announced earlier this year, is an important milestone in the business’ long-term commitment to the city and the East Midlands and reflects its commitment to investment in experience for clients and people.

Knights is now based at Waterfront House, returning to Nottingham city centre after being based on Electric Avenue since 2020. The move strengthens its presence in Nottingham and gives clients easier access to Knights’ unrivalled nationwide team of professionals.

The new office provides an open-plan working environment for more than 80 professionals, as well as a premium Client Suite on the 7th floor of one of the city’s highest-quality office buildings.

The space has been consciously designed to bring colleagues and clients together in a setting that supports collaboration, relationship-building and high-quality service delivery. It also includes a dedicated entertaining and event space for client legal updates, thought-leadership briefings and wider business networking including sessions delivered by Knights’ extensive group of property, employment, and tax specialists.

Following strong regional growth over the last few years, the new Nottingham office will support even closer ties with its professionals in Leicester, Lincoln, Sheffield and Birmingham, enabling Knights to support clients through its local insight backed by regional strength and national reach.

Regional Client Services Director, David Lister, said:

"Relocating to the heart of Nottingham strengthens how we support our clients – placing us alongside the businesses and communities we work with every day.

"Being in a city centre location means we are more accessible and more connected, enabling us to build the kind of close, relationship-led partnerships that underpin our work.

"It also gives us a stronger platform to deliver a premium, bespoke service – bringing clients together, sharing insight, and giving them direct access to the breadth of expertise across our national platform."

Chief Experience Officer, Jo Beech, said:

’Returning to the heart of Nottingham reflects both our ambition and commitment to creating the right environment for guests and colleagues.

"We have designed this space to support our people and the way we work – bringing people together, enabling everyone to do their best work, and ensuring clients experience the same quality and consistency wherever they engage with us."

The move forms part of Knights’ ongoing strategy to develop a modern, high quality ‑ national office portfolio that supports its colleagues to be their best and ensures clients experience a consistent, people‑centred service.
