Knights, the UK’s regional legal and professional services business, has strengthened its Commercial offering with the appointment of Tracy Lake as a Partner in its Birmingham office.

With more than three decades of experience, Tracy has built an impressive career advising on a series of complex commercial matters – both in-house at FTSE 100 businesses and in private practice.

Tracy trained and qualified at Severn Trent Water Limited, spending 17 years with the organisation before joining the National Grid. After a decade, Tracy joined Weightmans in 2018.

Tracy has vast experience in commercial contracts across multiple sectors, including manufacturing, automotive, energy and utilities, education, transport and logistics, retail fashion and beauty, and the public sector.

She has a particular speciality in Energy & Utilities, covering electricity, gas (including LNG), water, and waste.

Tracy advises on industry contracts and regulatory matters, ensuring compliance and delivering strategic solutions for clients operating in highly regulated environments

Tracy Lake, Partner at Knights, said: “It’s been a great start to my time at Knights and I’m excited to see what the future holds for an organisation in a period of unparalleled growth.

“I’ve worked across the sector for a long time and, I hope, my vast experience and contact book will put in good stead to best support the talented team already in place in Birmingham and across the Knights network.
