Knights is proud to have supported Douglas Macmillan Hospice, known as Dougie Mac, in its successful merger with children’s hospice Donna Louise Trust.

Integrating the two Staffordshire-based hospices will see the services provided by these well-loved charities continue to thrive and this move will secure the future of children’s services in the local area.

An extensive team at Knights, jointly led by Hayley Goodwin and Jenny Hampson, has facilitated this important merger which will strengthen the provision of high-quality palliative and end of life care for children, young adults and adults.

Hayley Goodwin, Partner at Knights commented: “It’s been a pleasure to assist in the successful merger of these two well-known and well-loved local charities and a real privilege for our specialist Charities team to be able to support the hospices' management team through this process.

Jenny Hampson, Partner at Knights said: “Both charities are close to my heart and I am delighted to have been involved with unifying children and adult services to ensure all patients and their families continue to receive exceptional care and support for as long as they need it. Our very best wishes go to David Webster and his fantastic team as they continue to provide these much-needed services to our local community."
