Hayley is an Associate Solicitor in the Dispute Resolution Team at Teesside.

Hayley has a particular interest in complex contentious probate and trust disputes, with particular focus on business, land, and agriculture. This often involves advising directors and shareholders on the death of a stakeholder in a company. She has assisted several clients in this area in resolving matters outside of the court arena, thus avoiding litigation.

Hayley’s experience in contentious probate lends itself well to her ongoing expertise in commercial disputes. She is adept in handling contractual disputes, partnership disputes, shareholder and director disputes, professional negligence, property disputes and intellectual property disputes relating to patents, trademarks, and copyright (protection and infringement).

Hayley prides herself on her ability to build excellent client relationships and her pragmatic and straightforward approach.

Examples of how Hayley has supported clients include:

  • Dealing with a number of disputes in a complex estate which involved the Deceased’s shareholding in a company valued at over £12 million.
