James is a Senior Associate in the Development team.
His focus is on commercial and residential development work and commercial real estate. This includes site acquisition and disposals and commercial landlord and tenant related work. James’ expertise includes the drafting and negotiation of the full suite of typical development related documents, including development agreements, agreements conditional upon planning, overage agreements and options..
James’ clients include residential developers, house builders, RP’s, pension funds, local authorities and outsourcing businesses.
Recent examples of how James has supported his clients include:
- the sale of part of a large residential development site to a local authority and the sale of a large scale development site to a house builder- in both cases where more than 200 units were planned;
- the disposal of a retail park involving tenant insolvency issues; and
- an extensive breadth of commercial asset management work.
