Karen is a Partner in the Residential Property team.
With over 30 years new homes experience having worked historically with developers and housing associations selling new build properties and for the last 15 years heading up the residential new homes purchase team in Portsmouth. Karen has an extensive and rounded knowledge of the new homes market from both a developers and plot buyers prospective.
Karen's specialism includes detailed knowledge of new build planning permissions and planning agreements and warranty schemes and insurances particular to new homes properties. She also has in depth knowledge of lenders requirements in relation to new build properties and is familiar with a host of different schemes and initiatives available to buyers such as First Buy, Shared Ownership, Home Stepper, Retirement Living, Discounted and Low-Cost housing schemes, Equity release and Islamic mortgages.
In addition to managing the Team Karen provides high level technical support viewing and approving complex new build site contract documentation and advising on complicated property issues ensuring that transactions within the Team progress efficiently and smoothly.
