Marie is a Senior Associate in the Family team.
She supports clients on a wide range of family law matters including nuptial agreements, separation agreements, cohabitation disputes, divorce/civil partnership dissolution and family law injunctions.
She has considerable experience in dealing with high net worth financial matters, often advising clients who have business assets, multiple properties, inherited wealth and valuable pensions.
She also advises on child related matters, including child arrangements, parental responsibility and leave to remove a child from the jurisdiction.
Examples of how Marie has recently supported clients include:
- Successfully issuing financial remedy proceedings for a client relating to a financial agreement reached some years ago but not finalised through a consent order, which the other party sought to override;
- Advising an applicant wife in relation to the variation of a consent order;
- Obtaining a shared care child arrangements order for a father whose ex-partner refused to mediate; and
- Supporting a father on a specific issues order application, involving the children travelling abroad to visit relatives.
