Matthew is an Associate in the Corporate team.
Supporting clients on a range of corporate transactions, he has a particular focus on acquisitions and disposals, corporate restructuring, group reorganisations and general corporate governance matters.
Working with owner-managers, management teams, shareholders, public and private companies, SMEs and international companies, he has experience of working across a wide range of sectors including technology, retail, manufacturing, finance, medical, transportation and sports.
Recent examples of how Matthew has supported clients include:
- supporting a family-owned company on the sale of their IT business for circa £30m;
- advising a major UK based accountancy practice on several strategic acquisitions of accountancy firms;
- advising a leading international automotive manufacturer on the sale of one of its branches in a cross-border share sale transaction; and
- supporting an AIM listed transport technology group on completing a circa £10m share acquisition of a complementary business.
