Sylvia provides advice to employers on all aspects of employment law, including terms and conditions of employment, the handling of grievances and disciplinary matters and compromise and settlement agreements. She has also supported clients through exit arrangements with departing employees and with a variety of employment tribunal claims.
Sylvia has particular expertise in the management of large scale redundancy programmes. She has also provided advice to senior executives on service agreements and severance packages following an agreed or forced departure.
As part of the employment team, Sylvia has supported the delivery of in-house training packages to employers who want to keep managers and staff up to date with employment law changes or who need guidance on best practice.
Sylvia’s clients include SMEs and large corporates across the aviation, manufacturing, hospitality and retail industries.
