Knights advised the co-founder of Pro-Align Limited on a buyout that saw him take sole ownership of the business.
Pro-Align Limited is a leading supplier of wheel servicing and alignment equipment to the automotive industry.
The business has grown significantly since its formation in 1990 and is a long-standing distributer of Hunter branded equipment – supplying vehicle manufacturers, dealerships, bodyshops, tyre specialists and independent repairers.
Philip Wylie has taken full control of the business after the retirement of co-founders Paul Beaurain and Kathryn Beaurain.
A team of advisors from Knights worked with Philip Wylie on the deal - led by James Maynard (Corporate) with support from Ashley Simpson (Corporate), Siân Davies (Real Estate) and Johanne Jackson (Employment).
Philip Wylie said:
“Looking ahead, these are incredibly exciting times for all of us at Pro-Align.
"We will continue to evolve our relationship with Hunter while also developing our structure, expanding our product range and investing in products and services that ensures Pro-Align remains the number one choice for workshops across the UK.”
James Maynard, Corporate Partner at Knights, said:
“It was a pleasure to advise Philip on this acquisition and the whole team at Knights wishes him and the business all the best for the future. Philip has exciting plans for the business, and it will be great to see this implemented over the next few years”.
