Clarendon Specialty Fasteners has acquired aviation hardware specialists MGC Aerospace.
A family run aerospace hardware business based in Tarporley, Cheshire, MGC Aerospace is owned by husband-and-wife team, Gemma and Gary Tomkinson, and boasts over 65,000 product lines that cater to both helicopters & fixed-wing aircraft.
A manufacturer of high-quality fasteners since 2021, MGC Aerospace is regarded as one of the industry’s fastest growing suppliers of aerospace hardware as well as supplying all manner of hardware across Airbus, Boeing & Embraer fixed wing aircraft.
In a deal that promises to strengthen MGC’s position as a market-leading supplier to the aerospace sector, the business has been sold to Clarendon Specialty Fasteners Limited, a global distributor of aerospace standard and commercial fasteners and hardware.
With locations in the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Thailand, Malaysia, Mexico and the United States, Clarendon Specialty Fasteners Limited is owned by FTSE 100 company, Diploma PLC.
Headquartered in London, Diploma PLC provides critical products and services to customers across a wide range of markets – from aerospace and renewables to space and defence.
A specialist, multi-disciplinary team at Knights advised the Tomkinsons on the sale to Clarendon Specialty Fasteners Limited.
