Alex is a Senior Associate in the Corporate team.
He supports clients on a wide range of corporate law matters including, share sales and acquisitions, asset sales and acquisitions, demergers and joint ventures. In addition, he advises on general corporate law matters including company reorganisations and drafting bespoke shareholders’ agreements and articles of association.
His clients include owners and directors of SMEs across the UK which operate in a wide range of sectors including technology and healthcare.
Known for his pragmatic and commercial approach to corporate transactions, he identifies and addresses the main issues for the client’s particular requirements.
Recent examples of how Alex has supported clients include:
- assisting buyers and sellers on due diligence matters relating to companies and businesses to identify issues in various sectors such as manufacturing, optical and catering;
- advising on a wide-range of reorganisations such as buyback of shares arising due to departing shareholders or demergers to separate trading and investment aspects of businesses for a number of SMEs;
- supporting with a number of sales and purchases in the healthcare sector, particularly the optical sector; and
- providing advice on general corporate law governance issues, including the preparation of articles of association for a new start-up company in the technology sector.
