Katie advises on all aspects of employment law including employment tribunal litigation, disciplinary and grievance matters, settlement agreements, day-to-day HR queries and redundancy exercises. She is a responsive, commercial, and solutions driven lawyer.

Katie is experienced in employment related data protection matters, and often assists clients with dealing with complex and high-volume subject access requests.

Katie’s clients vary from SMEs to large corporates across a number of different sectors including retail, manufacturing, financial services and education.

Recent examples of how Katie has supported clients include:

  • Securing the swift settlement of a complex employment tribunal claim involving worker status and associative discrimination.
  • Assisting a partner with a sensitive maternity and pregnancy discrimination grievance, subsequent tribunal claim from a senior employee, and the reaching of an agreeable settlement for the client.
  • Supporting a large corporate with a mass settlement agreement programme within a tight timeframe.
