Leah is a Partner in the Tax & Trusts and Wills & Estates teams.

She has extensive experience working in the private client sector, including the drafting of complex wills, administration of estates and trusts, Court of Protection and Powers of Attorney.

Leah’s expertise includes providing guidance on estate planning to mitigate tax charges, working with executors and trustees in administering large value estates, drafting and administering trusts and preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney. She also provides advice on deputyships for those with diminished mental capacity and is an experienced court appointed deputy.

Current clients include high net worth individuals and families, business owners, executors and trustees and lay and professional attorneys and deputies.

Leah is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, a benchmark of excellence in the private client sector.

Recent examples of how Leah has supported clients include:

  • Supporting non-professional executors in the administration of a German domiciled individual with significant UK assets;
  • Supporting a high net worth husband and wife who had recently sold a business and took measures to mitigate their inheritance tax liability;
  • Administered a high value estate and made a successful application for successive charges relief significantly reducing the inheritance tax liability; and
  • Making an urgent application for a grant of probate and obtaining the grant within 10 days of instruction.
