Nick is the Client Services Director for Private Wealth at Knights.
The Private Wealth proposition incorporates Knights’ expertise across Private Client & Tax, Family, Landed Estates, Residential Property, Contentious Trust & Probate and other related and ancillary services.
Nick started life as a corporate finance lawyer at a top 12 City of London practice before leaving law to work as a corporate financier in the UK investment banking arm of global investment bank, UBS. After five years in the FCA-regulated world Nick returned to law, becoming a partner in the tier one rated private capital practice at his original firm.
Having experienced life in professional services as well as banking, Nick decided that he wanted to build a market-leading, client-focused, wealth advisory business that included the best of both worlds whilst specifically excluding any conflicting elements that distracted from that aim; this has been his professional goal ever since.
In 2010 Nick and three colleagues set up their own private wealth, professional service, and investment advisory business. In 2015, having grown the business quickly, they sold it to one of the top 25 UK law firms. Nick has run several Private Wealth professional services businesses prior to leading Knights’ Private Wealth proposition.
