Rachel is a Solicitor in the Dispute Resolution team.
She advises and provides support to clients on a wide variety of commercial disputes, including those arising from breach of contract claims, professional negligence, debt recovery, and breaches of covenants or other employment obligations.
Rachel also has experience in matters relating to property disputes, such as those involving easements, commercial and residential possession, and recovery of service charge arrears.
She assists clients in resolving cases by way of alternative dispute resolution and formal Court proceedings where necessary, with a unwavering focus on achieving the best outcome for her clients.
Examples of how Rachel has supported clients include:
- Acting on behalf of a large UK-based property manager and developer to secure eviction orders encompassing the entirety of a large commercial site against trespassers;
- Assisting a commercial landlord to recover service charge arrears;
- Assisting individual landlords to recover residential premises;
- Negotiating a very favorable settlement on behalf of an individual client against a commercial entity and subsequently averting imminent court proceedings;
- Advising individual clients as to the potential legal consequences of interfering with others’ rights under easements affecting their land.
