A team led by Knights' Real Estate Partner Paul Kenny and Corporate Partner David Easdown has advised C1 Capital on the disposal of two operational hotels and a new £150m joint venture with Frogmore Real Estate.

The newly-formed joint venture has added the Hilton London Olympia (£130 million), the Park Inn by Radisson in Northampton (£15 million) and Stifford Hall Hotel near Thurrock (£7.2 million) to its portfolio.

C1 Capital has more than 50 years’ experience of hotel and serviced apartment investment and management and its latest joint venture arrangements are evidence of a return to strong investor confidence in the UK hotel sector following the challenges thrown up by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Knights team included specialist support from Paul Kenny and Katherine Lockhart in the Real Estate team, David Easdown and Pearse Connery in the Corporate team, Lisa Sweetman in the Commercial team and Carly Mather in Knights' Employment team.

Paul Kenny, Real Estate Partner at Knights, said:

“C1 Capital has a long-standing reputation for successful investment and management in the UK hotel market and it was a pleasure to support them with this complex transaction.

"We look forward to continuing to support C1 with their ongoing portfolio expansion and future investment and management strategies.”

Kristian Dijkstra, Co-Founder of C1 Capital said:

“It was a pleasure working with Knights on this important transaction for C1.

"The Knights team provided high quality and seamless advice across a range of specialist areas and ensured that the transaction was concluded in an efficient and timely manner.”
