We charge an arranged fee for immigration applications which is calculated based on our hourly rate. The work is sometimes carried out by more than one fee earner either at Associate or Senior Associate level which is reflected in the fee scope.
We request payment on account of the legal costs set out in our scope of services to you.
Our Engagement Letter will set out our terms of business including who will handle your application and any other staff members who will assist. We publish our hourly rates in our Engagement Letter together with an estimate of fees for any work.
The fees set out below are for common types of applications. The fees are per applicant and do not include dependants.
Sometimes VAT on professional immigration fees is not payable. We will confirm whether VAT (at a rate of 20%) is payable when we are instructed and can work out if VAT is properly chargeable.
£950 - £1,500 excluding VAT - disbursements are typically £100 - £300 with no VAT payable
Entry Clearance application for the spouse/child of a British national including fiancé(e)s and proposed civil partners
£2,000 - £2,500 excluding VAT - depending on complexity - government fees are typically £2,000 - £2,300 with no VAT payable
Spouse or child of British National/settled person in the UK extension application
£950 - £1,500 excluding VAT - government fees are typically £2,000 - £2,300 with no VAT payable
Naturalisation/registration for British citizenship
£850 - £1,500 excluding VAT - government fees are typically - £100 - £300 with no VAT payable
UK Ancestry visa
£1,500 - £2,000 excluding VAT - government fees are typically £2,000 - £2,500 and no VAT is payable
Points Based System - Tier 5 Temp worker category including GAE/charity/creative worker/religious worker/sporting
£1,500 - £2,000 excluding VAT - government fees are typically £2,000 with no VAT payable
Points Based System - Tier 2 (including ICT/General Entry Clearance and Leave to Remain
£1,500 - £2,000 excluding VAT - government fees are typically £7,000 - £7,500 with no VAT payable
Applications on behalf of EEA nationals and their family members under the applicable EEA Regulations or Immigration Rules and under the EU Settlement Scheme
£750 - £1,200 excluding VAT - there are no government fees for applications made under EUSS - Any applications made under EEA Regulations are currently £65
Applications based on Family Reunion (other dependent relative)
£1500 - £2500 excluding VAT - government fees are approximately £3,400
Provision of advice and representation at the First-tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) in relation to appeals against Home Office
£2,500 - £3,000 excluding VAT fees are typically £140
Not included in the fees
The fees do not include translator or interpreter fees or the Home Office application fees. They also do not include advice in relation to any appeal, should the Home Office refuse your application.

The work we will undertake include:-
- taking your initial instructions, and advising on the most appropriate immigration route including any other options available to you.
- assessing criteria and eligibility against the Immigration Rules.
- considering supporting evidence and assisting with obtaining additional evidence, if required.
- preparing the application and advising on the submission process.
- preparing supporting representations.
- advising on the outcome of your application including any compliance matters.
How long will my application take?
We cannot advise on the current processing times for applications as this is determined by the Home Office from the date you submit your application. The Home Office current processing times can be found here.
In normal circumstances we would typically expect an application under the Points Based System to take 4 weeks from the date of instruction and 4-6 weeks for a spouse visa, if all supporting documentation is provided promptly. We can provide a more accurate timeframe once we receive your instructions.
The above disbursement fees typically include (where applicable) the Immigration Health Surcharge fee, Immigration Skills Charge and Biometric Appointment fee.
